Gazban is a blessed town with a large population, and it is one of the towns people take pride in. It boasts a grand and beautiful emirate, renowned for its size and splendor. The town's ruler, Sarkin Umar, is known for his justice; no matter how wealthy a person is, they cannot oppress someone less fortunate. If news of such oppression reaches the sarki, he takes immediate action.
Sarkin Umar is deeply loved by his subjects, and they, in turn, love him. Despite being 76 years old, he looks much younger, appearing more like a 50-year-old, with no signs of aging. Whether it is wealth or power, he stands among the greatest kings. This grand emirate surpasses others in every aspect.
Sarkin Umar has one wife, an elderly woman named Dada. Despite his long reign, he has only two sons, Ahmad and his younger brother Abbas. The two brothers grew up together and have a strong bond.
In the town's system of governance, if a king rules beyond the age of forty (40), his son cannot inherit the throne. Instead, the throne passes to the eldest grandson of the family. If there is no male grandson, then the king's son ascends the throne.
When Sarkin Umar's sons came of age, he chose wives for them. Ahmad married the daughter of the Sultan of Agadez, Sultana Bilkisu, while Abbas married Sultana Sadiya, the daughter of Sarkin Umar's late brother.
