The sheer intensity of the blows and savage attacks they rained upon each other began triggering the most dangerous earthquakes. Instantly, both of them collapsed to the ground...

Quickly, this warrior woke up from a long, heavy slumber, his face rugged and overgrown with a thick beard. One could tell without being told that he was a heavy drinker of potent brews. With a slightly sluggish body, he jumped down from the tree where he had been resting. Without stopping anywhere else, he headed straight to a sparkling, shimmering river, where he immediately began washing his face and body. After finishing, he kicked away a hollow gourd container for alcohol that was right beside him. From there, he plunged headlong toward the eastern evening without an ounce of fear in his heart. Wow, behold the titans of yesterday and tomorrow, those who do not even know the meaning of misfortune...

It was a dense forest boasting towering trees, wild animals, and exceptionally beautiful streams. One glance at them revealed true warriors: HASHMAR and TARYAN. They tore through the heart of this forest at a terrifying, breakneck speed. Every time Hashmar glanced back and saw Taryan trailing right behind him, his face would broaden with radiance, prompting him to push himself and increase his speed even further. These two young men were charging directly toward a massive, monstrous hyena—so huge you could swear upon oath it wasn't a hyena at all, but an overgrown, fully matured elephant. Seeing that the chase was yielding no result, this gargantuan HYENA suddenly halted and let out a mighty, thunderous howl typical of great beasts of the wild. Roused with fury, the hyena turned to face them, pacing back and forth with absolute self-assurance.

When these two warriors saw that the hyena had stopped—evidently to fight to the finish—they also dropped down a short distance away from it and faced it. Exchanging glances, Hashmar looked at Taryan and said, "Well, now the opportunity is laid bare. Will you be the first to confront this hyena, or should I take the lead and test my might? For it would be a shameful disgrace for the two of us to gang up on a single life."

When Taryan heard these words from Hashmar, his spirit flared and his heart blazed with pride. Before Hashmar could utter another word, Taryan had already bolted, launching himself straight at the hyena without a reply. This left Hashmar in utter astonishment, though he remained silent without saying a thing. He simply leaned against a tall tree nearby, crossing his arms to watch the duel unfold.

Yet, refusing to let Hashmar witness his weakness, he clenched his fists tighter. Even though he knew it would be a miracle to escape the clutches of this hyena without immediate backup, he reasoned in his mind that rather than suffering total humiliation before his friend, he would grit it out until help arrived later.

Amidst this fierce, unrelenting battle, and with terrible misfortune, the hyena suddenly ambushed him and landed a vicious blow...
